Widemouth Bay

Widemouth Bay is the longest beach in the Bude area. It is a haven for surfers and all other water sports activites. It is never too crowded as it is comfotably long.

There is a large car park, cafe, toilets, showers and a lifeguard on duty most of the year.

Black Rock splits Widemouth Bay beach. There are a couple of excellent restaurants nearby. (Elements and the Bay View Inn)

The Widemouth Manor has recently beeen refurbished and offers a bar with stunning views of Widemouth Bay from the outside decking. Its restaurant can be busy but we can book for you if you like.

When the towns beaches and waves are busy Widemmouth Bay has more room for surfers and generally is the better option.
