As you will see from our ‘beaches’ pages there are plenty to choose from locally. If you are more of a beginner then we would recommend that you stick with the beaches serviced by the lifeguards. Popular beginner beaches are Summerleaze, Crooklets and Widemouth. For the more advanced we would recommend the areas of Millook and Duckpool, less crowded with good breaks.

If you need surf hire then there are plenty of hire shops locally, we would recommend Zuma Jay which is just around the corner from us.

We have plenty of storage for surf boards and facilities in our rear garden for you to wash and hang your wetsuits.
